JakartaOne Xela 2026 is the first JakartaOne event held in Guatemala, bringing the global Jakarta EE community's in-person format to the western highlands of the country for the first time. Hosted in Quetzaltenango — Guatemala's second-largest city, historically known as the capital of the 19th-century State of Los Altos — the event pairs hands-on technical content with a career-development conversation, under the theme “AI Boost Your Career.”
The event brings together developers, students, and technology professionals from western Guatemala, a region with a strong base of technical talent that has historically had fewer opportunities to connect with the wider Java and Jakarta EE community in person.
